Too Long

I enjoyed just going through the past couple years of blogs since we started this and am scolding myself for not keeping you posted.

Recap of the week:

Went to York Tuesday evening for dinner with Mom & Dad and then attended Mom's clogging class in place of one that I usually take in Crete on Tuesdays. I am so glad I started taking these classes again - I think I'm having more fun than I did in the hip-hop dance class I took last year. I also got to enjoy some food from Chances 'R' and that is always enjoyable.

We have a new president elect. Best to him. I won't get into politics on here.

More changes ensue at the bank as our CEO announced the launch of offices in Florida, Kansas City, and Texas. We might have some more locations opening on the East Coast, but they will mainly start as lending offices and then be converted into full service banks. We are on our own journey as a new full service bank, but have not "officially" advertised this to the general public yet. That should come in January. I am enjoying my position as Senior Teller by supervising one other teller and working as a backup when opening new accounts. Who knew I would be here in just one year, but it's true. It's much better than the data entry job I held previously and there is 20 times the opportunity than there was before.

Which brings me to my next decision/action that I've made...I'm going back to school to get my Bachelor's Degree! It will no longer be in English, as I had decided before, but Psychology. I will earn it from Chadron State College through their distance learning program. When I figure out financial aid and everything (should be set up, but received a letter from CSC today that brought up a few more questions) I will plan on graduating in 2011 or 2012.

I drug out typing this post too much tonight and now it's time to go to bed already. Must get some pudding first though! Hope everyone is doing well and having a wonderful year! Let's get some more posts up here. I'll shoot for typing another one next week.

Oh yeah, Grandma has an appointment at the Mayo clinic on the 18th(a Tuesday) of this month; Mom is going up with her and Grandpa. They will hopefully start heading back to Nebraska on the 21st (that Friday) with good news and in time for another craft show for Mom & Dad.

Dad is still working with Gary in the oil engine business. They went to Kansas again tonight I believe. Hopefully we don't get too much snow/rain for it to be gross to drive back in! The wind finally died down some tonight.

Much love to all.
