Jason is home from Iraq
Here he is hugging Mom but no one got a picture of him hugging Dad. I haven't seen one yet anyway. I think he was really as overwhelmed as we were.
It was such a great day and we had such a good time seeing him and the rest of the family. The lady taking the picture behind Jason is Stephanie's Mom, Linda. (Stephanie is Jason's wife)
Mom and Dad both got along well on the trip and we walked a lot! They all kept up--Dad, Mom, and her walker. She has graduated to a mini walker now. It is only a one handed walker. She uses it like a cane. But it looks like a pint sized walker. Jason was sure happy they made the trip.
There is a slide show of the welcome home that was done by a photography club in Kearney. Several photographers donated their time and took 2500 pictures of the whole experience there in Kearney and then donated their time again to produce this slide show and will give a DVD of it to anyone that requests one. I am amazed at the generosity of just common folks. It inspires me to be a better person.
Thankyou all for all the prayers and anything else you did for Jason and his family this last 15 months.
The pictures below are in order from here to the bottom of the page: Derek Dishman, Madelin Parks, Delaney Dishman, and #1 grandson Ethan Parks
This is the website: imagefactoryphotography.com . Hope you all will go there and watch it soon, as I think it will be taken down in a few weeks.

Love and God Bless America!

Those are awesome pictures. I wish I could have been there so bad. It's overwhelming to see, even with soldiers I don't even know, but I'm so thankful for all of them!! I'm so glad Jason is home.
