Portland July 27-06

Well its been hot here in the rose city and we have been fighting grass fires this week so pretty tired. Tues. neighbor woke we @ 10:30 and when I looked out the window we had 20' flames 15' from the house. Boy that was to close it burned for 12 min. it took the fire dept 10 min so was pretty much out by the time they arrrived. took 4 of us using garden hoses pretty lucky we got it down the sparks were all over my house and roof, the fire dept saw the smoke 3 blocks away and thought they had a major house fire but we won that one. June 23 I was told my job was over on the 31st of july so I will be unemployed again maybe I retire !!!! Uncle Butch are you selling your Motor home???, maybe I can come and see everybody and have a talk. How are the Harmons Uncle Ray & Aunt Janice and Rhonda good I hope, this is also for the rest of our big Harmon family. Need to go got company in town but NOT ANYBODY FRON O'NEILL YET !!!! Welcome!

Well, Sherry sent me an email the other day and suggested that we needed a family blog. I thought it was a great idea. So this is the initial try to see what we can put together. If you're interested you can send me your email address and I'll put you in as a member. We'll keep it reserved to family and family friends only at this point and expand it if people want.

Hopefully we can use the site to keep everyone up-to-date on each of our families, post pictures, and whatever else you all want. It's an experiment and will obviously change as it grows.

I think it will be great fun.
